Vehicle Detail
2005 FORD MUSTANG GT (500 shelby clone) 62K MILES AS-IS "PREVIOUS SALVAGE REBUILDABLE TITLE" Reserve Set Lower!! Up for Auction is a 2005 Ford Mustang GT Coupe, Automatic Transmission, Black on Black Leather interior. Loaded. This vehicle has a previously Salvage title, so title is ready to go. It was involved in a front end minor collision. I purchased the vehicle and all the parts and started to rebuild it into a GT500 clone, then ran out of money. I sold it once on Ebay, and the buyer didn't realize they had to put another 2-3 grand into it to get it where it needs to be, so they shipped it back and here I am again. I have put two new fenders, an aftermarket TRUfiber 2.5 inch cowl hood, Shelby GT500 front fascia (bumper), Shelby grill, Shelby headlights, foglights, and turn signals, and new throttle body on it. The parts still need to be painted black and cleared. They are black now, but the paint job isn't the best. If you were to do this to a stock mustang gt, it would run you around 4500-6k by the time you bought the parts, painted, and installed them. So far what I have done: Purchased the vehicle wrecked Bought all the parts to replace Installed the parts, however not fully do to they need to be taken off and re-painted anyway Had the Vehicle inspected by Highway Patrol and Passed (NOW HAS PREVIOUS SALVAGE TITLE) Still to do to finish the vehicle: Paint hood, fenders, maybe bumper ($varies) The frame doesn't look damaged, alignment seems fine, but it may need to be tweaked at a frame shop($300) Car starts and idles, fine but once you start to drive it, the wrench light comes on (indicating an throttle position or body problem) and the cars goes into limp mode. Probably something minor, Im not sure. Small ding in the roof and Right Door THIS VEHICLE WILL JUMPSTART AND RUN. HOWEVER, DUE TO THE WRENCH LIGHT ON, AS FAR AS DRIVING IT, IT IS IN LIMP MODE, I HAVE TAKEN IT NO FURTHER THAN AROUND THE BLOCK. WHEN I PURCHASED IT, I DROVE IT TO THE INSPECTION STATION 25 MILES AND IT RAN GREAT AND DROVE FINE, THEN THE NEXT MORNING THE LIGHT CAME ON, IM NOT GOING TO MESS WITH IT. FYI: TO FINISH THIS VEHICLE AND HAVE IT IN GREAT CONDITION, EXPECT TO PUT A 1500 TO A COUPLE GRAND INTO IT. IT KBBS AT 16,000 WITHOUT THE AFTERMARKET PARTS IN GOOD CONDITION. SINCE ITS A PREVIOUS REBUILT SALVAGE TITLE, I CAN'T GET THAT, AND UNDERSTAND THAT. KEEP IN MIND I HAVE PURCHASED SOME EXPENSIVE AFTERMARKET PARTS SUCH AS THE HOOD, BUMPER, HEADLIGHTS, FOGLIGHTS, MARKER SIGNALS, AND GRILLS THAT VALUE AT AROUND 2800-3000 WITHOUT BEING PAINTED AND INSTALLED. A FORD MUSTANG GT500 CLONE WITH THIS LOW MILEAGE WOULD COST AROUND 17-18K IF PURCHASED ALREADY DONE. IM ONLY LOOKING TO GET 10,000 BUY IT NOW. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING OR BUYING!!!! VERY IMPORTANT TO ASK QUESTIONS FIRST!!! I WILL DO MY BEST TO EXPLAIN. I WILL SET MY RESERVE LOWER, HOWEVER REALIZE THAT IF SOMEONE BUYS IT, IT IS GONE BABY GONE!! VEHICLE IS AS-IS OBVIOUSLY, AND I EXPECT 500 DOLLAR NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT WITHIN 3 DAYS AFTER AUCTION ENDS. FULL PAYMENT MUST BE MADE WITHIN 6 DAYS. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING ALTHOUGH I WILL HELP ARRANGE. THANKS AND GOOD LUCK NOTE: RADIO IS IN THE CAR, JUST WASN'T AT THE TIME THE PICTURE WAS TAKEN.
