The bike is in great condition. There are a few minor scratches on the gas tank that are too minor for my camera to pick up. The previous owner had the bike stored under a shed but on the ground, and it fell over once causing a few minor scratches on the side. The bike has since been buffed and polished. Any other scratches or marks would be from regular wear. There is a small rubber streak on the exhaust. I have an atv that I park by my SV1000S and I rubbed the exhaust against the atv tire while backing it out. You will find no other flaws on the bike. It has always been kept under a shed. It has two brand new tires, perfect rubber. I currently ride with a black plastic piece on the rear seat as you have seen in the pics. The regular seat does come with the bike. The only other modification is a K&N Air Filter that the previous owner installed. This was the first SV1000S that I have ever owned. The bike is incredibly responsive and smooth. It is very exciting to new riders and still has enough speed and torque for a more experienced rider to enjoy. The SV1000S rides a bit more comfortably then a regular crotch rocket, at the same time allowing you to hug the tank and turn up the speed!! I bought the bike expecting a lesser performing machine and ended up with a great fun machine. For a 2007 motorcycle the bike is amazingly perfect. The speedo is digital, rpm is analog. Has a clock and low fuel warning light. If you are interested in a quick, fun bike for long or short commute you have got to buy this bike. I would feel comfortable in comparing it to any other SV1000S as for as being cosmetically and mechanically sound. I do not want to sell my bike, but due to financial adjustments it must go.
