Vehicle Detail

Very solid car, purchased in Northern Texas as a package with another nearly identical TR-6. The seller refused to split the sale so I purchase both with the wife insisting I sell one of them. The color combination is original and is pimento red with a chestnut interior. This car should be considered to be complete and mechanically strong with great oil pressure. This car starts right up & runs and drives well. Brakes, alternator, & fuel pump have been serviced. This car has A/C that is not charged, otherwise; everything is fully functional. BODY: The trunk floor, rockers, top of rear fender seams, frame, and other rust prone areas are VERY solid requiring no panel replacement. The front floor pans have some surface rust scale but generally appear very solid. The left front fender is dented behind the wheel well and the right front fender has a dent just behind the headlight. The doors, bonnet, and deck lid fit well and should be considered straight; except for the panel dents previously mentioned. The chrome is good but not nearly show quality. The tires are original RED LINE's but show some aging and wear. INTERIOR: Very original seats and door panels with the drivers seat having some tears. The carpets appear to have been replaced with non-original materials. The soft top, with the reflective strip, is there but needs replacement. The dash is sun checked and has some peeling. This car needs a complete cosmetic restoration but should be considered to be mechanically good and a reliable driver. A very solid TR-6, yet unrestored car, in this condition is very difficult to find in the midwest and should make someone an excellent Triumph. Feel free to call with any specific questions at 319-721-4356. Good Luck bidding. On May-28-11 at 10:37:06 PDT, seller added the following information: I just added the inside trunk photos showing the carpet and the trunk floor pan. The car does have a spare but I removed it while taking photos of the trunk. I have tried to be diligent in describing the general condition of my TR-6 but please don't hesitate to ebay, or call, with any additional questions. The car has already reached reserve so it will defenitely sell to the highest bidder; good luck; and thanks for your interest.
