Vehicle Detail
Not Your Average 2003 SVT Cobra Terminator Convertible... The engine is a complete custom build from the ground up. Starting with a Cobra block, it was bored and stroked to 5.0L of displacement. Internals consist of a Kellog Performance Crankshaft, Manley H-Beam rods, and Custom Wiseco Pistons. The Compression ratio is nominal @ 9.0:1 The Heads were completely ported and flow over 330cfm on the intake and 315cfm on the exaust. All 32 valves were replaced with 1mm oversized valves and all 32 guides and seals were replaced. The cams were cut by Comp Cams custom for this engine. Valve springs are from Comp Cams as well. The engine uses ARP studs and hardware throughout the engine. The engine comes with a build sheet that has complete detail on it, down to the ring end gaps. This information as well as cam specs will be provided to buyer. The blower is the Whipple unit produced for Ford racing. The pulley set for 18lbs of boost. Exhaust is handled by Kooks Stainless headers with 1 5/8 primaries and 3" collector, with matching 3" catted X-pipe, and Spin- Tech 2 1/2" cat back exhaust. Cooling for racing in the demanding summer heat of the southeast is handled by a oversized Fluidyne radiator, custom built intercooler coolant tank (with extra wide access to add ice and mounting for Odyssey PC680 Drycell Battery), Evans Cooling Cobra water pump to reduce cavitation, Evans Cooling NPG+ Waterless Coolant and oversized heat exchanger for intercooler to handle even the hottest summer days at the track. This all amounts to 735 whp and 643 Foot Pounds of Torque on 93 octane. The suspension sets on Steeda Sport Springs at all 4 corners. The front uses Tokico 3-way adjustable struts and Maximum Motorsports Caster Camber Plates. The rear suspension was completely disassembled and cleaned and re-assembled using Polyurethane upper and lower control arm bushings as well as polyurethane subframe bushings. A Steeda rear differential cover brace was installed as was a Steeda front differential bushing set. QA1 Adjustable shocks were used in the rear. The car rides nice on the street without beating it's occupants to death, but with just a click of a knob will 60 foot in the 1.6's all day long at the track. Steeda full length subframes and rear IRS subframe braces were used to strengthen the chassis. The drivetrain has been upgraded to handle the massive horsepower and torque generated... and beyond if you want to add a nitrous system later. A McLeod Industries twin disk clutch and their accompanying aluminum flywheel transmit the power to a D&D Performance T-56 transmission equipped w/ 26 Spline input shaft, then on to the D&D Performance drive shaft. The weak stock Ford halfshafts have been replaced by the Driveshaft Shop Level 5 halfshafts rated to 900 RWHP, so you won't be left standing at the tree during launch. A Steeda Autosports double hook clutch quadrant and cable rounds out the package for smooth application of the clutch. New 275/40/17 summer performance tires are mounted on 17 x 9 chrome wheels in the front, while new Mickey Thompson 315/35/17 E Street Radials mounted on 17 x 10.5 chrome wheels provide plenty of traction at the rear for the street or the strip. Just heat them up and go! Ford Racing special edition red Cobra brake calipers at the front and rear, along with Powerslot brake rotors provide plenty of stopping power at the end of the run. Steeda Autosports stainless steel brake lines ensure that get the most performance from the braking system. The stereo system complements the rest of the build with a powerful, but understated Kenwood DVD/Nav/Bluetooth headunit. The interior theme is carried forward with a Boston Acoustics Pro 50 SE competition 2-way car component system concealed in stock speaker locations. A Yzen YA-500 amplifier is nestled flush to the trunk floor, while the custom built subwoofer enclosure holds a Boston Acoustics G5 10" competition subwoofer along with a GTR 10" high performance tunable radiator. High resolution pictures are available, just message me with email address. This car has already had the Dash lighting replaced where it will never have the dreaded issue again. Comes with two shifters, and shift knobs. Brand new cobra floor mats (not pictured) are included. Car is garage stored. Moving to Dallas and cannot take all of my 16 cars with me. Must sell this or put it into long term storage until I can get back to it. Although I am in a pinch to sell I am NOT going to give it away. This is my absolute LAST attempt at listing this car. After this auction, if no sale she is being put into storage where I will not have access to get it until at least fall. Questions? 314-809-2928
