PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE BIDDING Ok here is one for you pontiac trans am lovers.This is a 1979 pontiac trans am special edition y84 400 4 speed car this car has the original engine and transmission and it runs and sounds good.ok i got the car a few weeks ago and am selling due to financal reasons.when bought the car it was not running and the front end was shifted up i put some rubber bushings to hold car straight but needs factory new bushings to be correct.The drivers fender hood and front nose are NOT original the car has been wrecked before.I have a clear title also THIS IS A HARDTOP CAR nobody nows how many of these there where.There was 1107 of these cars built but only around 200 where beleived to have ttop delete.read that on internet.OK im going to go though the things i have found bad on this car the drivers window was busted out so the theif could steal the 4 speed console.sorry.the pans need replaced i did not take pictures becasue they DO need replaced i have a 80 automatic formula with near perfect pans that will be included in purchase if wanted.the car runs but i can not get the rod that pushes the fork to dissengage the clutch to stay put but i have driven it in the yard though all gears.the car needs a complete restoration.But being what it is its gonna be worth somthing.the front nose will be back on before purchase the last owner had blue firebird fenders on it but had original passenger fender and a trans am drivers fender so i just put those on.it does have 4 wheel disk brakes and limeted slip posi trac says on tag on rear end i seached for build sheet and found it but rats had allready had there way with it so its bits and pieces that cannot be made out.owners before me said they had another one that was behind back seat but is missing.the trunk pan is very passable with very minimal rust.includes original jack also one of the snowflakes is busted but all four are there and on craiger.the hood has 2 big rust holes near windshield on passenger side the shaker is broke.
