Here is a very nicely preserved 1955 Chevy Cameo truck; they just do not make them like this anymore. There were very few of these trucks made in 1955; for those of you who know the history, you know how rare it is to find one in this condition. This truck is an extremely nice project that was never finished by the previous owner. The body and frame are pretty much rust free with the exception of the bottom portion of the driver's side front fender(see photo). You can either repair the portion of the fender or replace it. The fiberglass cab is in almost perfect condition with the exception of the wood which needs replacing(see photo). The 350 engine runs very strong and fires right up. If you are local you are more than welcome to come hear it run or send someone on your behalf. The front end has been lowered and sub-framed with disc brakes(see photos); it is an after market brand new front ssuspension kit that was installed by the previous owner. However, there is no brake booster or brake lines in place therefore, the truck is not drivable; the steering column is not hooked up either. The engine mounts also need to be fabricated and installed. The truck has 6 hole hubs in the rear(know absolutely nothing about the running gears) and 5 hole hubs upfront. All of the glass is in place and in fair condition, it is only missing the emblems; both bumpers are in place as well and in very nice condition (these are impossible to find!). There is a fairly nice bench seat in place and there is no rust on the cabin floors or corners. Overall, it is a very nice looking and highly desirable truck. Please keep in mind that this is a project truck and therefore, I am selling it as is with "NO WARRANTIES OFFERED OR IMPLIED". I do have a clear title to the truck and will sell worldwide provided all funds clear before shipping the truck.
