Up for sale is my 1966 Mustang GT “K” Code Convertible - matching numbers 4-Barrel 289/271 Hi-Po Motor,4-speed, 3.50 axle with 52,000 documented miles (on title). Wimbledon white with the black pony interior and the undercarriage is the ford red oxide paint. It comes with the 8k rally pac- tachometer, clock, styled GT steel wheels with the bias ply tires, chrome locking nuts. All the lights and instruments are in working order and the taillights turn on with the fog lights. Manual convertible top is like brand-new, tight and clean; a boot will be included. The car was rotisserie restored back in the 1980’s and has been meticulously maintained and stored in a climate-controlled garage its whole life. This car shows awesome and comes with multiple best-of-show winner trophies, historical competition trophies, original 1966 owner's manual and Hi-Po equipment specifications guide.. The mechanics of the car are in excellent condition with low miles. The Hi-Po 271 hp engine starts and runs like new; there are no leaks, no smoking and all engine parts (carb, distributor and complete drivetrain) are correct and original, including dual-points ignition and platinum spark plugs, rotor, cap & wires. The interior, from the carpets to the door panels to the convertible top are in beautiful shape. The body is in amazing shape as well; the doors, trunk and deck lid look great. The rocker panels also look great except for the silver dollar sized paint blemish on the passenger side rocker. The engine compartment is extremely clean and so is the trunk compartment. The rubber windshield gasket is starting to show its age and is cracking but is still in tight. Chrome and stainless (including the steel wheels) are in great condition too. Myself and the prior owner consider this car a trailer queen and have treated it as such. Reserve price is low and reasonable. IMPORTANT ... PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY!!!
