Often called the last REAL Cadillac, the final in the Brougham series is now most sought after by collectors. As we know, once GM get's it right, they discontinue it. That was certainly the case with the Brougham. The optional 5.7 litre engine is exactly the amount of power needed to move this heavy car in and out of traffic. Highly torqued, this Brougham will move off the mark quickly and easily. The roof treatment, body mouldings, extra chrome and and composite headlamps gave these cars a sleek but classic look that has yet to be seen again. The paint is in excellent condition. The roof is in excellent condition. The leather, in antelope, is as soft and supple as the day it left the factory. No marks or tears can be found on the interior of this d'elegance. All hardware is present and in excellent condition. All options and interior lamps work. Even the power antenna is original and in working order. The headliner, notorious for falling, is in perfect condition. When I purchased the car, the original owner had plastic mats over the carpet mats in the car. This car was driven rarely and that is reflected in the number of miles on the odometer. The only options not present are: engine block heater, sunroof, security system, and the auto dimming mirror. The car drives like a dream and the tires are in excellent condition. Recent improvements are: oxygen sensor, catalytic converter and exhaust. No lamps or buzzers sound with warnings. Under the hood looks great. I doubt the trunk has ever seen a suitcase. I cannot find rust on the car. Please understand that the car is for sale locally.
