This is an auction for a complete 1951 Oldsmobile Super 88. We purchased the car on eBay in February 2004, at which time the car ran, shifted, and drove extremely well. We purchased it with the intention of using the engine in another car we were restoring, but in the end we opted to rebuild the original engine instead of replacing it. When we purchased the car, everything worked--the lights, gauges, brakes, etc. Since that time the car has been sitting where you see it in the photos. This car is being offered at NO RESERVE, so the high bidder gets the car. See my extensive positive feedback buying and selling cars. The windshield has a small nick, but otherwise all the glass is original and good. Both fender skirts are included and are in good condition. The car is 100% original and complete (the photos show the car without the two front wheels, but these are included, and will be mounted before the winning bidder picks up the car). The floors and trunk are basically solid. The chrome is all there, along with all the emblems, etc., but the grille and bumpers are rough. The stainless is good. Original owner's manual.
