Fresh out of the paint shop and $2700 later, I have for sale a very nice solid 1965 convertible. It is all original. Runs and drives very well.Original rebuilt motor, transmition. Original color combo Springtime Yellow, with black interior and top. Top is in good condition needs new back plastic window. Like I said the car was just repainted its a midgrade 3 stage paint. Not a cheap Maaco job, but not a 10 thousand dollar show paint job. Just a good looking 3 stage with clear coat, and a 5 year warranty. At that time a small rust area was repaired on the front passenger lower fender. The undercarraige looks original and is very solid. The interior is really good, seats are good, dash is not cracked, door panels are good, carpet is faded, Original mustang radio. Original black steering wheel. Tires are newer with hubs. Engine runs very strong, has brand new carb, fuel tank, fuel lines, and tons more. Chrome trim pieces in trunk still need to be put on. Comes with front bumper, but really should have new bumpers. All glass is great. Trunk is clean with no rust at all. Data plate reads as follows 76A 8 26 12S 33 1 1. The color is really fun, especially if you need some light in your life, its cheery, and not too bright just a great spring color. The manual transmition makes for a fun fast ride. Clean title ready to go. I will assist in any way I can in transport, but the reason I am selling the car is because i am moving out of state so I would prefer a quick pick up. Yes I have the chrome pieces to be put back on the car including the boot trim, sill plates, front bumper, emblems. Some I would choose to replace with new to go with the new paint. The air cleaner does come with the car. The back plasic window has been taken off, replacement is only $150. The floors are very solid, I can send pictures of under the carpet where you can see that they are rust free. The weather stripping was taken off for paint, can be re done for abou $150 all around. The only body part I replaced was the front valance and one small metal patch the size of a baseball on the front fender.
