up for sale is a 1976 455 4 speed trans am number matching. the motor that is in the car now is a 350 sbc with a bad flywheel. the 455 spun a rod or a main bearing and they pulled it out and put the sbc in it. the 455 has std factory pistons still in it with no ring groove the motor and yes the motor has the vin of the car on it and it is sitting inside a storage building .i have the flywheel for the 455 and bellhousing disturbuter intake and exhaust manifolds. so i am sure the car only has 55738 miles on it i drove the car for a test run with the 350 in it and the steering was tight. the wheels are in great shape with good tires. the car needs a left rear 1/4 and a trunk pan. where the wiper motor was there is a hole in the cowl that needs to be repaired i have the parts to fix that. it has small hole in the drivers floor the rest of the floor is solid. the hood has a few spots of bubbleing also. i had started to pull the motor and trans out and repair the 455 and install it then i lost the shop i was working in. i hate to sale the car but i have to sell all of my cars and truck do to i can not keep them here. i am selling other items here on ebay
