You are bidding on a 1977 Porsche 911S Targa. The car starts on the first try runs strong and idles nicely... very minor oil leak like most Porsches or older cars. The 915 transmission shifts very nicely into every gear (no grinds). I picked the car up with the intention of fixing it but the 1987 911 coupe project, wife and house keep on getting in the way. I have owned several Porsches and i saw alot of potential in this one. The seats need to be redone mainly the drivers seat and the car is missing some of the carpets. No major rust problems but has some rust. The Targa top has a tear in it and but has been temporarily fixed. The car has been repainted and partially restored in 1991 and another $5,000 went into the car in 2008 tires, brakes, hoses, belts, oil and fluids changed, fuel pump, fixed gas tank, fuel filter new battery, etc. I have the records for the items mentioned $7,500 for paint etc. in 1991 and $5,000 for servicing the car in 2008. Come drive the car you will not be disappointed in this car for a nice project. The car has an up to date Registration Connecticut is a non Title state for any car older than 1981. So the registration is the Title and will be signed over to winning bidder as soon as funds are received as well as a bill of sale.
