The ebay relist; THIS CAR IS BEING RE-LISTED DO TO A LAST MINUTE BUYER THAT WAS EXPECTING A PERFECT VEHICLE WITH REGARDS TO THE BODY, EVEN THOUGH I HAD OVER 220 PICTURES AND SOME ITEMS WERE MARKED WITH ARROWS POINTING OUT AREAS. There were three items that were not marked some hairline cracks on the front composite bumper skin, some quarter sized door dings (3), and a paint mar or rub on the rear door bottom drivers side that I did not point out to them in the photos. Take your time and look at every photo,and zoom in if you need to for a closer look. I posted these pictures to truthfully represent this car as best pictures can. It does no good if you do not take the time to look at them. Car has benn serviced at nearby GM dealersship since we have purchased it new,Litany; Mobil 1 first 3,000 second 3,000, and then every 5,000 miles till current date I greased front end ball joints, steering linkage with mobil synthetic grease after evry other oil change. All recalls have been preformed catalytic converter replaced under warranty/recall 6 months ago New wheel hub assemblies (bearing hubs and speed sensors) all four corners replaced in sept 2010, two bearings were becoming loud, and needed replacement, they are sealed bearings and not uncommon to go out all around the same time, dealer replaced all four corners. New brembo zinc silver coated brake rotors slotted drilled, and brembo ceramic non metallic brake pads replaced at 78,000 miles four wheel disc brake, this SRX will stop on a dime and give you 9 cents change. The stock brakes GM set up the SRX's with were undersized and pads burnt up quick. Steering column speed sensor replaced under warranty fall of 2010. Dealer installed new steering column speed sensor. Passenger compartment air filter replaced 28,890 by me Air cleaner replaced 17,678 miles, 36,865miles, 52,354miles and 78,101 miles Coolant flushed and brake fluid at dealer @ 50,570 miles Hydramatic trans fluid changed, and filter and transfer case fluid @ 45,000 miles Fuel injection system maintenance cleaned at 50,570 miles New bridgestone blizzaks intalled fall of 2010 all four replaced same time and alignment Replaced all 8 spark plugs 64,783 but there was nothing wrong with the old ones, but changed anyway Rotated tires and checked alignment (NTB lifetime alignment program) Jan 2011 All three wipers new in Jan 2011 Two low impact low mph accidents in this SRX's history; first was left front fender damage and headlight lense spring of 2009 from 5 to 8 mph side to side impact, idiot that ran a redlight on a 25mph zone street after ours turned green, fender replaced with new, no frame damage, no bumper damage, no hood damage or paint, no spindle damage, noair bag deployment, just fender and headlight lense, no bondo used new fender installed and painted by body shop through insurance (Gerber) second was right front fender winter 2010, had a green arrow so turned left, heavy snow on roads, person coming from other direction could not stop all the way and slid into the intersection and made contact with passenger side fender. Replaced fender, headlight, bumper skin, and fog light lense. 5mph to 7 mph combined speed corner to corner impact our passenger front fender to their passenger front fender. 35mph speedlimit zone, Gerber Next scheduled major maintenance is @ 100,000 miles that being air filter change, change tranfer case fluid, change transmission fluid and filter, replace spark plugs, and flush and replace coolant it says in book not to do flushing till 150,000 miles, but you are doing evereyhting else so might as well. In short, we take care of our vehicles, really LOVE this car, and the engine has CRAZY power for the type of car that it is. 320hp in a crossover suv, previously known as a station wagon..really?? My parents had lots of station wagons six kids, and this SRX my friends, is the farthest from any of those that you could ever imagine. Run Mobil 1 and do the fluid maintenances, and you will have a long lasting high performance seven passenger grocery getter. Also, only the cars that had the 1SC luxury package had the magnetic ride control, which this is. Found further info, brake pads are non metallic ceramic not metallic as noted in one of the pictures. Metallics are dusty and get the black muck all over the rims, especially the front brakes. Someone said the carfax is stating 2 owners, which is incorrect, we bought this car from Chesron Cadillac in Ohio, as there were none to be had in our area with the options this car has. He followed me out of my home area, as I led him on a route with no tree branches that might damage the vehicles on his truck, saw him off at the interstate ramp. And off it went to California. Once the carrier takes possesion, their insurance covers anything on the vehicle if something happens during transport. These can be repaired using the paintless dent repair system, but with deductable on our insurance, it is cheaper just to fix the dent. That is something you can do if you so choose. These dings are as is where is. If you would like to repair yourselve, cost is around 200 to 400, depending on who you use. Yes, it's a Northstar, just hold on if you put it to the floor. I would take this car anywhere, 10 times and back again. No issues with drive train, engine, trans, or electrical, no leaks, no codes, passes emissions (see recent picture). These engines are meant to be ran, not babied, and run better if you don't. Everything works, and nothing is broken or needs to be fixed. No chips in glass, no cracks in glass. Take it anywhere you want on the upcoming holiday in toal confidence. The only thing I would consider is updating the dvd for the navigation. I think it is version 6.4 and the newest version I believe, is 7.0, but it works fine the way it is, mapping might not have brand new roads on it though. Dealer updated the navigation in the fall of 2010, and dvd stays in the unit.
