1966 DODGE CHARGER PROJECT REBUILT BIG BLOCK AND TRANS. LOCATED IN N. TX. 76265 Due to losing my shop lease I am forced to sell my 66 Charger project. Newly rebuilt 383 bored 30 over, 727 auto trans. rebuilt with shift kit and new torque converter Car starts, runs, drives. Started every 2 to 4 weeks. All parts to complete car are included except you will need most of the rubber for the doors and windows. Also no wheel well or rocker panel trim as I had not planned on using it. 4 bucket seats and a full length console with "tic Toc tach" console clock. Car has been completely stripped of paint and coated with epoxy primer. Many parts have been completely refurbished, including dash, gauge assembly, emblems, seatbelts, "wood" steering wheel and much more. Extra perfect hood included as intake might cause clearance issues. You can cut one for hood scoop and keep an uncut spare. I have put over $11,000 and 100s of hours in this, my loss is your gain. Finish some mostly light body work and pick a color. Has new passenger side floor pan, gas tank, sending unit, fuel filler hose and supply lines. All hubs have been removed, cleaned, and repacked. Also left hand threaded studs replaced with new right hand threaded studs. Tank has been primed and painted as has the floor pan. Included is a cd with all parts and assemblys shown with expanded diagrams. New owners manual, glovebox liner and an electric trunk latch release included. Oem fan shroud and Hemi oil filled fan clutch. Car has been converted to factory A/C. A/C controls are still connected to exchanger box. 383 tested and bored 30 over by Performance Machine in Wichita Falls, TX. Built to handle nitrous system after 2,000 mile break in, engine has Keith Black 10 1/2:1 flat top forged alum pistons, perf. valve assembly. Engine has basically all new internals, h/v oil pump, comp springs etc. Engine has been heat cycled but you will need to break it in. Original oil still in crankcase. All new componants include, rebuilt radiator, Mopar: light weight alum. starter, electronic ign., blaster coil, electronic voltage regulator, alum pump housing, H/V water pump, cast alum valve covers. Edelbrock: Thunder series 800cfm carb w/ elec choke, Victor single plane intake. 85 amp chrome alternator, ceramic headers. Dual 2 1/2 inch Flowmaster mandrel bent tail pipes and mufflers. $2,000 spent on engine componants (carb, ign., w/pump etc.) Seats redone by the last owner but have flaws from storage. Cushions are good. I had planned to get by with a dye job. New oem headliner material included. Many extra parts and supplies come with car. Several duplicate parts that can be sold when your done. Extensive photo diary of restoration work available. NO TRADES PLEASE real buyers with real money only ($3,000 spent at machine and trans shop alone) CONTACT US FIRST if you have less than 3 feedbacks and/or a history of bid retractions and problems or your bid will be canceled. Car is under carport under tarp, most of the parts are in storage unit. We will work with the buyer on pickup and storage. Ask questions and we will get back to you as soon as we can. BIN price is less than spent on rebuilds, motor componants, fuel tank and floor pan. All work has been done with the intent to keep, not sell, so no shortcuts have been taken.
