Vehicle Detail

After 25 years together I am selling my 1965 TR4. I found this car in pieces and completely restored it over the years. It is a TR4 with a 2 liter 4 cylinder engine powered by dual Stromberg carburetors. As you can see in the pictures, the body is in terrific shape as is the engine. I had the entire car restored in 1993 while serving in Korea. The entire interior is new. Walnut dashboard, new door panels, carpet kit, trunk lining, and recently restored seats in black vinyl with white piping. The engine runs great which was also completely rebuilt in 1993. It is a simple engine to work on and I have taken good care of it over the years. The odometer reads 23,603 but, I have put less than 2,000 miles on this car since it was completely rebuilt in ‘93 with annual services and oil changes. Recent new parts include, fuel pump, air filters, and clutch. The lights, horn, and the windshield wipers work. This car has its original steel wheels, hub caps, steering wheel, ash tray, and many of the other of the hard to find details. You can see in the photos that we replaced floor boards, fenders, rocker panels, and trim. There is zero bondo or filler in this car. The paint looks great with no significant chips or scratches. This car needs a new soft top, the frame is good but the vinyl top has a yellowed rear window. The radio and heater are missing, but seat belts and spare tire are in good shape. I have owned this car since I was a teenager but am choosing to part with it as I am moving to Florida where I plan to find an old Porsche with A/C. This car and I have been together for over 25 years, but I feel it is time to part ways. Because I am a Soldier, this car has spent more time in storage than on the road and it deserves a good home. This is a 46 year old British sports car and does leak some oil, but otherwise is dependable and fun to drive. It has plenty of power, is fun in the corners, and always turns heads.
