My Rebel not even two year old and only has 3690 mile on it and runs and looks great. While I was learning to ride last spring I did drop it one time. It didn’t even scratch the paint but it did get two quarter sized dings on the gas tank where the handle bar and mirror came back and made contact. I can't get the dings to show up on a picture so you'll have to come and see for yourself if this is a concern to you.
