OK, this is a GREAT 1983 GLX 5.0 convertible mustang, I bought it from a close friend that had it for sometime, totally stock unmelested car, had it for a couple years this way and sold it to my brother in law, 2-years later he wanted to see it and I bought it back, then the transformation took place when I took the motor and trans out and put in a 347 race motor and started doing some drag racing, always wanting to go faster the car went to Halls chassis shop in MA for a chrome-moly roll cage ceertified to 8.5 et in 1/4 mile (over 4500.00 in cage and frame connecters) It has a 8.8 very built up rear all stock susp. with 33 splin axles, spool, 4.30gear,c-clip elim. c/m adjustable upper/lower control arms. Front is all chrome moly also with UPR all tubular K-member with Strange Enginering adjustable struts, flaming river manual rack, Both front and rear have Areospace disk brakes set-up , (just the front and rear suspension and brakes 5200.00) Interior has a Kirker race seat,quick release steering wheel(grant wheel) Autometer tach/fuel gauge, Painless Wireing rocker swiches, NOS bottle holder, fire extinqusher. In the trunk is a 10 gal fuel cell (Jax Manuf.)with #10 braided line to the engine compartment, on/off kill swicth,and enclosed NHRA battery box.She has Weld Wheels all around with M/T 28x10.5 slicks on 15x10 wheel and 15x4 front with skinnies. Body is in Very Very nice shape(normal here and there chip) NO dents/rust SOLID car here. Has a fiberglass hood and the stock flat hood to. She has a SOS outlaw wing on it. Well I tell ya there is alot here, I raced it for a few years won many races and a championship in NY with it I really luv the car thats why I bought it TWICE, she has gone 9.00 @ 149 mph in quarter, and is a street-car, lights all work , horn , push the button and the top goes down YES very very much a STREET/STRIP type car. Oh the original 5.0 motor and trans GO WITH IT, yes all stock from Ford Carb/pan, and all the interior to Baby Blue buckets and rear seat and gray rug. Why am I selling???? I wanted to go all out RACING and this car was not going to be chopped-up by me so I just bought an Outlaw chassis and that is my focus. I belive this 1983 GLX 5.0 convertible in white is only one of a 1000 made to. Street strip it or all out race it (she has done bumper wheel stands many times, SHE HOOKS) or cut out the roll-cage and put the stock motor and trans in and put the top down and enjoy it, Well thats about it a very nice car here for you at a LOW LOW to low of a price, HIGH bidder will own it, NO RESERVE!!!!!!!!
