Built from 1962 until 1980, and initially offered as a roadster, then a GT coupe; these beautiful classic sports cars continue to have strong support as wonderful timeless automobiles. In their time, these were excellent handling quick little cars, and are still very fun to drive. Nice examples are getting more and more difficult to find, as rust issues become larger problems as the cars age. However, parts are readily available and companies such as Victoria British, and Moss motors are prominent suppliers of just about anything you could need for one of these fine machines. Easy to own and love, you’ll enjoy your MGB! This particular MGB is a GT model in really nice condition. All rust has been cut out and or repaired (it was not bad to begin with). The previous owner had the car 10+ years, and having spent many years working in repair/body shops went through the car doing a light restoration, or more of a freshening of this car to make it a usable driver daily, or a fun weekend car. This car is for sale locally and subject to being sold before the auction ends!Contact Jon at 425-446-1895, or email. The body is in good condition overall, however the paint is a “ten foot” paint job, in that it looks best about 10 feet away. There is some orange peel in the paint, but with little work one could really make the exterior of this car look amazing, or keep it as it is and enjoy it as a driver. The interior as you can see from the pictures is in great shape. Carpets are new, dashboard has no cracks, seats are new, and steering wheel is new. This is a lovely driving car, and the interior feels as though you are driving a new car!Mechanically the car is strong. Brakes are good, tires are good, new battery, and the motor was rebuilt approximately 3000 miles ago. Clutch feels strong, and transmission shifts well. This is a really fun car to drive. It does have some traditional MGB clunk noises occasionally, and we were told this is common on these “knock off” wheel cars.Overall, a really fun car that could be driven daily or simply tinkered with and or resprayed to be a spectacular machine. We personally took this car to Victoria Canada to celebrate our anniversary, and enjoyed the car thoroughly. We’ll be sad to see it go but know the new owners will really enjoy this lovely British sports car.Disclaimer:Due to the nature of business these days, especially online, please keep the following in mind:Besides any issues I mention in the ad, please keep in mind this is an old car, and though it has been well taken care of and is in good shape, it is an older car and my description is as honest as can be but with all things subject to relativity. If you went through the car with a magnifying glass and fine toothed comb you could find faults for sure--as you can with any car, and so the car is sold “as-is” and pre- purchase inspections can help take some guesswork out of any car purchase so I encourage them. I am no mechanic, I just know I drive it around and enjoy myself thoroughly and I am sure you will too! Shipping:Buyers are responsible for shipping the vehicle, but we'll do our best to make that process easy for you. We are experienced with international shipping. Terms of sale: This vehicle is sold "as is" with no warranty or guarantees. Please make all pre-purchase inspections before committing to purchase the car. We'll help out however possible to arrange for inspections to be done at the expense of the purchaser. Vehicle is for sale locally and is subject to being sold before the auction ends. If you are the winning bidder you must submit a $500 deposit within 24 hours of the auction end.THANK YOU AND GOOD LUCK BIDDING! This car is for sale locally and subject to being sold before the auction ends! Contact Jon at 425-446-1895, or email.Because this car is being sold through our dealership, Grand Prix Motors, LLC. We are obligated for Washington state buyers to collect sales tax, a $150 doc fee, and license fees that you would otherwise be taking care of yourself at your local DOL. However this does save you some time, effort, and hassle! A few more pictures!
