Kids are grown and gone, time to sell the family hauler. 2000 Ford Chateau full size van. Chateau package includes 4 captains seats and a bench seat, seats 7 adults with plenty of cargo room behind seats (not a conversion van). Standard features are 5.4L V-8, automatic with overdrive, front & rear AC, 35 gallon gas tank, class II/III/IV trailer towing package, front & side airbags. Options include Chateau package, power drivers seat, 2 tone dark green over silver paint, aluminum running boards, aluminum wheels, 4 wheel anti lock brakes, premium stereo with CD, remote keyless entry. this is a one owner, non smoker family vehicle. The body is good with no rust, only some minor paint peel around the wheel well in back. The rear chrome bumper is rusted out around the ball hole, but looks OK otherwise. The interior is in good condition with minor wear and scuffs, no tears or major stains. Rear seat and captains seats remove for full cargo space, great for moving kids to/from college (trust me, I know...)The engine and transmission run and shift fine. Tires are about 70%. Original window sticker and manuals included. The problems: AC blows hot, needs rebuilt. Drivers power window is broken, motor runs but glass does not move, I think the lift arm came off. Engine uses a little oil but does not smoke. There are some stone chips across the front but otherwise the body looks great. This is a great family cruiser with lots of room and comfort, has seen most of the country on vacations. Still has many good miles in it. We never pulled a trailer, but it is set up for a Reese hitch if needed and motor has plenty of power. We got about 15-16 mpg loaded with family and luggage on the highway, not bad with 7 people. We just drove it to WV & back to pick up a graduate, and it ran fine, so it is ready to drive home. However, it is a used vehicle with no warranty, sold as is. I am listing with a very low reserve, just want to find it a new home and make room in the driveway for the kids cars!. Note: drivers seat is not stained, dark color in picture is just shadow.
