This truck has a long list of modifications many of which were installed prior to being shown in the April 2002 Truckin’ magazine. Engine: Magnum 360 5.9L- currently estimated w/ over 375HP and 500lb of torque as per article. (I never dynoed or raced to confirm, seemed kind of a high estimate to me) Gibson Headers, Comp Cams crankshaft, MOPAR performance computer, 3” Flowmaster side exhaust, Ram Air, Throttle Bodies, ACCEL coil, MOPAR performance 3.92:1 posi rear end, Hurst floor mounted shifter (original is column shifter)and more. This thing has serious rumble but is has no problem being in the daily grind. Has newer radiator and has never overheated even in heavy traffic with air conditioning. Gets about 18mpg. Body: I had the flames hand painted and functioning Shaker Hood installed after a deer met the orignal modified fiberglass hood and cracked it about 4 years ago. The paint is amazing with a flow of colors from orange into the purple all hand striped and painted. I didn't repaint bed so it shows a few scratches, the top roof of the cab was never painted and shows some sun damage, 18' chrome rims (some pitting) rear tires replaced recently. Full sized spare. Dropped 3 inches in front and 5" in rear. This thing handles incredible. It has a plastic bedliner as well. Interior: Custom Italian Leather stitched with R/T Logos, replaces all cloth panels and seats. Airbrushed murals inside add to custom touch. White faced gauges and floor shifter let you know this is serious. Has PW, P mirrors, AC, non smoker, dual cigarette lighters, extended cab, Automatic, CD player, PDL, sliding rear glass, not power seats but basically you want it probably has it. Recent maintance has included brakes pads, catalyst converters, rear tires, belts, header gaskets, ect. Passed NJ State emission and safety inspection. Future repairs- one center cap is broken on rims and show pitting to the chrome. The rear tires are pretty new, the front however wore bad due to a bad alignment. The inside of the tire is much more worn than outside on the front set of tires. I had to replace the driver side hub assembly because it was loose, the passenger side was fine at the time but I was planning to replace the passenger side when I got new front tires and wheel alignment. The total cost for this is $720 including labor and alignment. This is a high estimate but I included it into the price. the place told me over 400 for the part alone and you will find it alone much cheaper on ebay. The AC is not blowing as cold this year and I imagine it needs a refill. Beyond that I don't know of anything else it needs, and I am sure it will make someone very happy.
