2000 Ford Focus SE Wagon, needs some fixing, but at this price it's still a steal! Car has plenty of life left in it. The Good: only 65,xxx miles on it, all highway In the past 2 months the oil, transmission fliud, air filter, and coolant all have been changed Tires still have plenty of meat left on them The front brakes (rotors + pads) were done less than 10,000 miles ago. The Bad: Drivers side front door got scraped by a fire hydrant while backing out of a parking space (see pics) Passenger side front fender got pushed in by a high curb, and now that door doesn't open all the way (see pic, door is as far open as it goes without forcing it more) The front suspension makes a "clicking/popping" noise when you turn the wheel all the way to either side The head gasket is leaking, needs to be changed asap. The car drives ok, but will start to run hot if idling for a while. On open road won't notice it. Has usual focus annoyances (power locks don't unlock, trunk latch doesn't work from inside car, etc) Interior needs to be cleaned (for me anyway, the pics are exactly how it looks now) No Reserve! The car had 34,110 miles at that time. There was no rollback. This car used to belong to a relative of mine and I remember the story. The mileage is legit. The valve cover says "Ford 16V Zetec". The cruise does work. I found an alarm pad for it that I'll include. I'm not a mechanic but this is what I know.....there are a few tiny green bubbles after start up on the left side of the engine a few inches below the valve cover. If I drive it around I occasionally smell antifreeze. A mechanic I trust told me it needs a head gasket.
