This auction is for a 1987 Mercedes Benz, 190e (4 cylinders, 2.3 liter motor) for a handy man or for parts. Car has a salvage title.It's exterior is clean except for a ding in the right hand side of the car (not depicted, sorry). Both front wheels are new.Interior is very clean as well, but it does have a lot of quirks:Odometer has stopped working. Radio isn't hooked up - works though. Sun roof doesn't open. Left back seat window doesn't open. Plastic panel in the back of drivers seat is detached (an easy fix). You can't unlock the car from the front passenger side. The car starts, but doesn't drive. It is a transmission issue that makes the car not drive, and I'm sure if a mechanic take a look inside there would be other fixes needed. That being said, this Mercedes have been a reliable vehicle for the year I have lived in the states. I have been driving between San Diego and LA every to every other week, and daily to school with no car issues until now. Registered until december 2011. Valid smog certificate. Car is sold "AS IS".
