Vehicle Detail
Volvo C70 HPT Convertible 2002 Spring has Sprung! It's time to get into a great Convertible! This 2 owner car has 89,500 miles and is a real gem! Fully loaded Volvo Convertible with the sought-after high-pressure turbo engine. Silver car with grey leather interior and a navy blue soft-top is as good looking as these cars come! Power soft top retracts with the touch of one button. It's fully automatic - no need to snap, hook or latch anything - just set the parking brake, push the button and the top and windows go down or up. This Volvo has every option for 2002, including the cold weather package with heated seats and headlight wipers, the upgraded DynAudio stereo with 9 speakers including center channel, Dolby Surround Sound, a 3-disc changer and cassette in the dash. It sounds awesome! Car also has power and memory seats for both driver and passenger, front and rear fog lights, stability and traction control, and an on-board computer showing miles to empty, mpg, temperature, etc. Power windows, locks, remote lock key-fob, alarm, power mirrors, dual-zone air conditioning, and all the bells and whistles you need. This car has the 17" 3 piece BBS deluxe wheels that look great. This was the first car to have the Roll-over protection system that has hyrdaulic head protectors that raise up in the event of an accident. You can't find a safer convertible than a Volvo. It also has the Stability & Traction Control option and Cruise Control. I bought the car in 2006 from the original owner who had leased the car. I bought it with 82,000 miles, and have only put on 7,000 miles in 5 years because we only drive it in the summer with the top down in nice weather (it's our third car). It's been stored in a heated garage every winter and garage kept in the summer. I hate to sell this but we just had a baby and this toy isn't going to get enough use to justify keeping it. Since I bought it I have only used synthetic oil, premium gas and have had regular service. I replaced the brakes and rotors a couple of summers ago, replaced the tires last summer (they are almost brand new), replaced some suspension components last summer, and replaced one speaker that was damaged with the OEM DynAudio speaker. The body is in great shape with no rust. There are a few scratches on the bumper and on the front of the hood which you will find is pretty normal for a car of this age. The interior is very clean and the seats are in great shape. The top is in very good shape with no rips or tears, only a little wear where it is folded up when it goes down. It drives and shifts very smoothly. There is a little suspension noise in the front when you go over big bumps at slow speeds (like train tracks), but I had it checked out by the mechanic and they tell me this is normal for this kind of car. This is a really great car, and will be a lot of fun for someone this summer! I own this car free and clear with a clean title, so come with paypal, a cashier's check or cash and it's yours.
