Engine is a V8-305. Not sure why it came up automatically in the listing as a V6 but I could not change it. NO RESERVE...Car sells to highest bidder...auction will not end early so please don't ask. Title is clear...but lost along with others when we moved a couple months ago. I have all the appropriate paper work filled out with the State of Illinois to sign the car over to the winning bidder. The cost of a new title is $95.00 to be paid by me. Here's the story...bought this car for my step-son and sunk way too much money into it. The wife soon decided she would rather see him in a newer car with airbags and front wheel drive. He drove it for about two months. You win some you lose some. Alot of the restoration is done if someone wants to finish it or drive a sharp car as it is. All work done in 2010. New paint...the only rust on the car was one corner of the hood so we put a new hood on. The paint is cracked on the bumpers (see pictures) otherwise it looks beautiful with the blue pinstripes. Can't remember all the parts, but they include new exhaust, shocks, hoses, belts, most all new seals and gaskets. The engine and transmission do not leak. Rebuilt alternator, new battery, practically all new AC parts. Air is cold. New vinyl top, and the only thing the interior got was a new headliner. Windows were professionally tinted to the legal limit in Illinois. Tires are good other than the boy rubbing the passenger front on the curb. Interior still needs work along with door seals. The doors do open "heavy" as with all older Monte's. Runs strong and shifts smooth. The driver side window crank is broken and there is a check engine light that comes on. Can't remember what the code was, but it runs strong and I was done putting money into it. If you come to pick up in person and you aren't satisfied that the car was accurately described I will cancel the transaction and refund your deposit less $50.00 to help cover the cost of the ad and my time. No refunds once the car leaves my property. On May-11-11 at 18:10:35 PDT, seller added the following information: Title Update: Long story short, I filled out the title paperwork when I was selling locally. I had a question from an out of state bidder so I double checked with the DMV. The paperwork I have is only good for in state sales. I can however get an expedited title back in 24 hours at an additional fee. This will also force me to take half a vacation day, so...if the winning bidder is out of state I will take a half day Monday morning and pay the additional fee which will give me a clear title in hand on Tuesday 5/17. If the winning bidder is in state, the paperwork I have is taken to the DMV the same as the title. I had to do this once when I bought a truck and it's no different than taking in the title.
