For sale is my Lexus SC 430 Neiman Marcus Edition from 2002. This was a special edition Lexus sold only in the 2001 Neiman Marcus Christmas Book. Only a 100 were produced and sold. The 100th car was auctioned to raise money for 911. The winner of this auction will receive a copy of the actual catalogue from 2001! I love the SC 430.... I've had a few and this has been my favorite so far. In addition to being unique, you won't see another on the road, this SC 430 has the remainder of a 60 month bumper to bumper warranty with no deductible. The warranty expires at 90,000 miles ( purchased when car had 30,000, so 60,000 more) or April 2015. I now have 34000 miles on this wonderful SC! Details: the actual name of this edition was the "The Silver Bell" Neiman Marcus Edition Lexus SC 430. The SC 430 is equipped with a 300hp, 4.3 liter, V-8 engine. The SC 430 was designed as a convertible with a retractible hardtop. The handstitched leather is in Candy Cane Red with a medium silver exterior. Features include a Mark Levinson Premium Audio System with a 6 disk in-dash changer with 9 speakers, climate control and a navigation system. Other exclusive options....the Candy Cane Red floor mats, custom finished wheels ( I have upgraded the wheels to a 2007 wheel, I will include both sets if my reserve is met), red engine cover, and a limited edition, sequentially numbered badge. Mine is number 33 out of 100. The original price was $70,000. These cars were available for purchase beginning October 1, 2001...... I was told that they sold out in minutes! My SC 430 includes the remainder of 60,000 mile or 60 month platinum warranty that I purchased in April of 2010. This warranty is bumper to bumper and covers everything. It is transferable for a small fee of $35.00. I have used these warranties in the past on my cars, they are very customer friendly and I have never had a problem with a claim. Other items...the SC 430 has run flat tires, they are around 2 years old, less than 10,000 miles. Note...I updated the rims from a 2007 Lexus SC 430, these rims are not perfect, but very nice. The original rims are inluded, see the catalogue pic or the one pic I added with the original chrome rims. The story on my SC 430.... Again I have had a few. I just sold my daily driver to a good friend in VA. I sass this edition of Lexus in the Neiman Christmas Book in 2001. At that point, I had heard about the new SC and I was driving an SL. Well I was reluctant to buy on, thought nothing could replace my SL. In 2004 I bought my first SC. What a car!! I fell in love with the drive, the dependability and the ease of ownership. At some point a few years ago I started looking for a Neiman car. Difficult to find....not just out there waiting on a buyer. It took some time, but one day I found my SC in South Carolina for sale by the original owner. The car had been purchased new as described in the catalogue and delivered on Dec. 27, 2001 to Hendrick Lexus in Charlotte, NC. It was apparently a Christmas gift and a great surprise! The original owner never used the car as a daily driver....just for pleasure. I have enjoyed this car.....looking at other cars that interest me...so I need to move this SC. In summary it's a beautiful SC 430. The red interior in person is incredible. It is unlike any other SC 430 on the road. I am open to any inspections. My local dealership also knows this car. It creates quite a stir when it goes in for service....it's just unique. Sent from my iPad
