For Sale: 1981 Oldsmobile Cutlass Brougham 4 door. This car has a little less than 56000 original miles with a clear title. The car was purchased in 1981 new by the original owner and we are the 2nd owner. The condition will be stated below and there is no warranty on the car for it is being sold as is. The condtion will be described to the best of our ability. The car does have cruise control, power steering, power brakes. The a/c may need freon but there is an a/c unit on the car and seems to be complete. This car is not new or a newer car so dont be confused, however it does run well and we did drive it frequently over long distances. Buyer is responsible for all shipping cost, however we can help with the logistics if necessary. Tires are around 40 percent good, and below is the list of good and bad. This is a no reserve auction so happy bidding and thanks! Good Body is straight, only very small dents are visible and there are only a few. Engine runs strong, and no issues with transmission. No problems with cracks in the windshield or the other windows on the car. Bad Engine leaks oil, we think from the left valve cover. It drips on the exhaust which stinks and causes minor smoke as a result of oil leaking on the exhaust. It leaks only when running and typically takes a couple of weeks to leak a qt. Headliner and sunvisors need reupholstered. They are sagging and loose. Muffler has a leak. Hood ornament on front of vehicle is loose. One of the rear seatbelts in the back seat has a 1/2 inch tear in the belt. Electric seat controls on drivers side are not functional Body trim on doors and rear panel has fell off. Trunk does not stay open, for some reason the gas shock that normally holds it open does not work properly The interior is stained in places.
