Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my short wheel base 3 gauge 912. This car is in good condition considering it is a 1966 model the chasis has 100,9XX miles and the engine has 60miles on a fresh rebuild. the body is very straight with no dents or dings. It does have numorous small paint chips typical of normal wear and tear. paint and interior is approx. 10 years old. on the lower corner of the passenger fender there is a minor amount of rust that is shown in the pictures. and a couple of small bubbles on the front of the bonnett as well about the size of a pencil eraser. the front suspension pan is rust free as well as the spare tire well and the battery area. The floors have been patched over with galvanized metal. with a couple of rust areas behind the jack area on the pan. the rockers and jack pad areas are both solid. all in all this car is very good and presentable its not a restored 30k car or a junk 5K car that needs tons of cash thrown into it but a quality driver and weekend cruiser. Heres a list of the good and the bad that it needs still THE GOOD. Rebuilt 1641cc type 1 engine with 60.1 miles since complete rebuild. Brand new webber/empi 34ict dual carbs & manifolds Brand new 55amp alternater Brand new fuel pump Brand new 009 Distributor,Plug Wires, and Coil Brand new J-tubes, and exhaust Brand new clutch disc, pressure plate and release bearing Rebuilt oil cooler and new cooling fan Brand new engine sheet metal The Bad and needed still Front windshield has a crack on the passenger side Passenger side winddow regulator sticks on ocassion clutch needs adjustment carbs are roughly synced but could still use minor tweeking starter is a little weak and works but could use replacement soon keep in mind this car is not a new car hence no warranty is expressed or implied. all in all this car is great car but not a show car. feel free to ask any questions. and remember your bidding to buy the car and not to make up your mind if you want it or come look at it. $1,000 deposit via paypal due within 24 hrs of auction end.
