Vehicle Detail

1967 camaro RS/SS 350. NOT a clone. It still has it's original engine, 4-speed transmission, an 12-bolt positraction rear. The engine code is MS, the rear code is QK (3.31 posi). I don't know the trans code, but it IS original with the VIN stamped on it. The body is clean. It never was in very bad shape, however the rear quarters were rusted, the floor wasn't too bad, mainly rusted in the back seat, and the roof was rusted along the back edge... Here's what I have done: I bought this car from a friend who was going through a divorce back in 1992. It came with NOS quarter panels, NOS outer rear wheelhouses, NOS front fenders, NOS front wheel wells, NOS Upper and lower grill moldings, and NOS radiator support.NOS fuel tank. Unfortunitly, I sold the front fenders and RH front wheelhouse years ago but everything else I have. I installed the quarter panels and rear outer wheel houses in 2002. Also, at that time, I installed a full repro floor pan and roof panel. The trunk floor is original and perfect. I didn't do anything but sandblast and prime it. The rear tail panel is original and in excellent condition. The rockers, very nice. The panel behind the rear window is original and excellent as is the dashboard, upper dash, firewall, cowl and sides. All original and in very nice shape. The car was hit at one time in the left front. The frame was bent. I found a VERY nice 67 Camaro frame. The hood is not original to the car but it is an original SS hood. I still have the original RF fender and LF fender, but they're both in very rough shape..NOT usable in my opinion. The car comes with a nice GM used LF fender and repro RF fender. The upper valance is OK, the lower valence is bad, but I have a good one that goes with the car. In fact, it may be an NOS one. It's been a long time since I've worked on the car as a death in the family forced me to stop with it in '02. I began working on it again in 06. I painted the inderside black epoxy, but then realized it should be gray, not black. I was trying to restore this car back to total original. I started to sand the black to paint it gray, but lost interest and stopped there. The rotissorie does NOT go with the car. I will get the car back on 'rolling' wheel I realize buying an old car in primer is risky. However, I will say this car is NOT a primered rust bucket!!! This is a VERY nice start to what will become a great camaro. I didn't take pictures of every part I have for the car but it's mostly complete. So, here is a list of the parts I DONT have: I DONT HAVE -RF inner fender liner -windshield -RS chome rocker moldings -Wheel opening moldings -carpet (I threw it out) -headliner(tossed) I think that it. Any questions please ask! History: Car was from Nebraska. Bought by the father in Oregon for his son stationed in Nebraska. He traded the car in in 1970. The second owner kept the car until 1979 and sold it to his buddy. The buddy died and his parents sold it to ??. Somehow the car ended up in south Florida. It was registerd to a guy in 1987 in Florida. My friend found it sitting in an apartment complex in 1990. I got it from him in 1992 and moved to Washington state in 2001. I decided to have it shipped here. It's a low option car. Only has RS, SS350, 4-speed, posi rear, vinyl top, tinted glass (all), and speed warning. Thats it. NO console. NO radio (I still have the radio delete plate), NO hub caps (Still has all 4 dog dish caps AND original 14x6 steel wheels!) Was Grenada Gold with black interior Overall, excellent car. Easy to finish. Good title, docs, Reserve is very fair. AgaIN, PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS! Or if you'd like other pics of any part, LET ME KNOW!!
