Vehicle Detail

This auction is for our 67 Ford Ranchero. It is the Fairlane body style with GT/GTA (clone/recreation/ if made) trimming. Has 427 Ram Air Repop Hood with lift off pins and Brackets (Hinges come with). This is an original California Car with Black License Plates still one it, currently registered and insured. This has been in the family for 25 years and always Garage kept/Covered. I hate to get rid of it but have a family SOHC project and do not want to cut the front end up or put in a cage. This had a 390 in it when I bought it in the 80’s. The car was a great condition survivor car to start with. The paint was done about 1990 and still in great shape. It does have the typical door ding and scratch here or there. Most of the chrome was redone, there are some original chrome pieces starting to need some attention, but all there. The same for the Stainless trim pieces, they have all been polished at some time too. The odometer shows 83,000 miles and should be original to car. All the steel body panels are original to car, never in accident. The Interior is also in GT trimming. The Carpet, Headliner and seats are in perfect condition. This was a column shift car originally and new column added for floor shift. The chrome in the interior is starting to show its age and could be redone, but all there and straight. Dash pad is decent, a couple of cracks in speaker area but none on the main sections. Door sills are new repops along with door seals and window felts. Car was also a drum brake, when converted to front disc, the Disc brake pedal was added. The dash cluster is in good working order. The speedometer was re-calibrated to rear gears. Comes with performance gauges: Tach, oil, temp, volt. The current engine combination is 428 CJ service block +.030” bore. The Crank is 428 1U crank 10/10. Rods are C7AE-B with Speed Pro 12:1 Dome pistons. Heads are Ford EDC with modified Machined chambers. Fully Ported and Polished with 2.15” Intake x 1.75” Exhaust. Cam shaft is Solid Flat Tappet with 600” lift. The Valve train is a full Roller Rocker assembly. The Oil system was Blueprinted including Pump, oil restricted, with Canton T-Pan. The Intake manifold is a Blue Thunder CJ port matched with 1050 Dominator. There is a 300 HP Nitrous plate system. MSD Distributor and 6A Box. Billet Aluminum underdrive pullies were added. Has a 4 core copper radiator for cooling. Headers are Hooker Super Comps with 2 1/8” Individual Primaries to Slip fit collectors. Exhaust is 3” with Flowmasters . There is a crossover and turndowns before axle. Fuel system has 2 electric pumps from weld in bungs in tank. #10 line to regulator then #8 to Carb. Other line is #6 to NOS solenoid. Motor has about 500 miles since freshened up many years ago. I Drive the car now just to local burger nite 5 miles away and home a couple times a year. Has not been back to track on this motor, nor nitrous used. Other Driveline features are a Built C6 with Reverse manual valve body. Has 10”Continental Convertor with 3500 stall speed. The Driveshaft is a custom built larger diameter unit, balanced and HD U-joints. Car has a Custom built driveshaft safety loop installed. The rearend is a 9 inch that was original to car. Everything has been replaced except the housing. Has an N-Case with 3.70 gears, Detroit Locker, 31 spline Billet Axles, Daytona Pinion and pinion snubber. Traction bars were also added to help. The axles have 3”long wheel studs. The rear wheels are 15x 10 Weld wheels with 5.5 back spacing. The rear Tires are MT 28 x 10.5 Slicks with Wheel screws. The rear wheel wells widened 1.5” inward to meet inner frame, kind of mini-tub. Rear has large 3’ drum brake setup recent rebuild. The Front end has been converted to Manual Disc from 68 torino setup, new ball joints, lower control arms, Coil springs and 90-10 shocks. This is a Manual Steering car too. Front wheels are 15x 5 weld wheels with 3” studs. This Car hooks up very well, lifts both front tires, goes straight and stops good. This Ranchero is one of a kind. You know the amount of time, effort and dollars it took to build. Bid accordingly. This car runs low 11’s as it sits through the mufflers. Drop the exhausts run high 10’s. Decide to run the plate go even faster. Have Old time slips to prove. Winner can upgrade extra $$ to Tunnel wedge Intake with 660’s and ram Air Base plate sitting on shelf. This takes 50-50 mix race gas/pump gas. Winner will need to trailer the car since it has slicks. I do not have any rear street tires for this. You may want to bring a set. A $1000 non refundable deposit within 24 hrs of end of auction (Paypal OK). Pick up arrangements made by phone between buyer/seller. Any shipping cost are buyers expense. Winner to bring Cash or cashier’s check at time of pickup or wire transferred to my local bank to verify funds. Title transfer and shipping of the vehicle will not take place until full purchase amount has cleared bank and funds are available. There is NO warranty on this vehicle or no where implied. Sold “AS IS”. For any questions email pumpbldr@comcast.net or call Doug (559)325-3553
