1973 FORD THUNDERBIRD I am trying to build this ID up to sell cars that are not quite classics yet so If you would like to see my feedback you can look me up on this link. This car is DOCUMENTED 23k miles and all the receipts back that up as well as the way it drives...LIKE NEW!The interior is just about flawless and I bet no one has sat in the back seat and if so for less then 10 minutes. The dash, headliner and rear package tray look like they were installed yesterday. The door panels are excellent and the carpets have no wear. I have no doubt this car spent long periods with no action but did so in a nicely protected garage. The body has ZERO RUST and the paint still has a very nice shine though there are a few dings on her as I am betting the garage housed some other cars that were a bit rude with their doors. The chrome is in excellent shape and the body is super straight. The under carriage is about as good as it gets when dealing with a car from 1971. The trunk compartment looks like new and ALL THE RUBBER IS JUST ABOUT PERFECT! The vinyl top is in near mint condition with not even a hint of rust or any bulges. The original 429 Thunderjet has been gone through to stop the leaks that a car with low miles will develop. The trans was leaking too at one point and that has been fixed as well. She is bone dry down low. The steering is super tight and the shocks have been replaced. Most of the receipts were from the 80's and mid 90's as that's when things needed attention due to inactivity. The motor compartment is still very clean with no valve cover leaking or paint peeling as most have with higher miles. There is still a factory chalk mark under the hood that is almost always long gone. The car has only had 2k miles since 1995 but the car has been given a gone over and it is totally ready for the road.
