1976 BMW R90/6 Garage find! I found this bike several years ago and the owner did not want to sell it.He bought it new when he was 54 years old and had only rode it on pretty weekends until 1980 when he suffered a severe stroke and has been sadly confined to A wheel chair ever since.So when I heard that they were ready to sell it I felt like this would be A great bike for some BMW rider who would appreciate having A one actual owner machine with less than 6,000 original miles with all the documentation(original sales agreement,cancelled check for purchase of bike,original owners manual,tire repair kit,original BMW shop rag,genuine factory workshop manual,haynes manual,etc.) The factory paint marks on the front axle have never been disturbed.This bike is completely untouched original other than the battery and oil and air filters and fuel lines. I had both petcocks and carbs rebuilt by BMW tech while bike was getting serviced. It runs and rides perfect.They are only original once. I restore Harley Davidson and Indian motorcycles for A living and I know how good these BMW's are.please look at the pictures and feel free to ask any questions.The paint is near perfect left side cover has some staining that may or may not come out otherwise it is like new one tiny place on front fender too small to photograph.engine has some gas stain on both lower rear sides from old fuel hose leaks most of the bright work is excellent.The wheels have some rust at spoke nipples but I believe it is surface rust there is some spotting on the wheel rims but I rubbed on it and a lot came off may be fine after polishing on it with some chrome polish or may not. The pipe clamps have rust on them and large rear axle spacer has rust on it.The right rocker cover has some scrapes on it but not bad. It has A set of Bates hard bags and trunk that lock and operate as new.
