Hi There, and welcome to my Auction. Here we have for sale an excellent oppurtunity for US buyers. The oppurtunity to have your very own Land Rover Defender 90. The first (and current) short wheelbase, 3 door coil sprung truck from Land Rover. This particular example is now 26 years old, and so is eligible for tax free import into the United States of America. It's chassis is in superb condition and shows little in the way of any rust. Any which it does show is merely surface and could be cleand off with a wire brush / rust remover gel. The Vehicle is very straight and tidy and would make an EXCELLENT start to a refurb project, or could be left alone and used exactly as is for many years to come. Never Restored Excellent original chassis Good Original Bulkhead Good panels. Superb 2.5 diesel engine and LT77 gearbox with no issues Bad Points :- Front door bottoms are rotted (can be repaired to as new standard) Rear Door is showing signs of corrosion Foot wells are showing some signs of corrosion Seat box end panels are showing some signs of corrosion Seats are not the most plush or modern types Paintwork is tired About me, the seller My name is Alan Mitchell. I am well known in UK Land Rover and classic car circles as yellowmitch and have been featured twice in Land Rover Monthly magazine, most recently on the cover of the march 2011 issue. I have also been featured in Practical classics magazine with some of my other projects. My hobby / part time business is as a classic car restorer and Land Rover Defenders are my speciality.
