If you got stuck in the snowstorms of the last two years, my 2003 Jeep Liberty Sport is just what you need! This little 4x4 was one of the only cars on the road. It would also make a perfect first car for a high school graduate or a commercial vehicle. The vehicle is equipped with a 4-cylinder manual transmission which, when it works, averages 20 MILES PER GALLON (city and highway combined). The odometer shows 110,813 miles. The seats are black and are in very good condition. The exterior of the car is a SPARKLING burgundy/maroon, as you can see in the pictures below. There are no door dings and only minor scratches; there are some scratches on the dark-gray plastic fenders and bumper. The rear bumper (plastic) also has a sizable dent which may be able to be pulled out, or could be easily replaced from a salvage yard. Finally, the driver-side mirror is broken (both the mirror and the plastic housing). A dealership quoted me $275 to replace the mirror and housing. The vehicle has: power windows and locks, cruise control, a single CD player, AM/FM radio, and a COLD air-conditioning. Once you get it running, Kelly Blue Book says this jeep is worth $5,800. It's for sale because it needs work on the TRANSMISSION. I took it to a dealership to let a mechanic have a look; after dismantling the transmission, they recommended replacing it. I chose to have it towed to my residence instead. As you can see from the pictures, the center console and stick were removed to examine the transmission. The transmission parts are in the back of the vehicle, the console is in my garage, and the stick is in the floorboard. Title Notice: Lemon 06-10-2004 NY The title is listed as "Other" because the vehicle was repurchased by a dealership (who I bought it from) after there were "hesitation" problems reported by the first owner. It appears that these hesitation problems, which I never noticed, were related to the transmission, which is why it now needs replacement at such an early age for this vehicle (2003 with only 110k miles). The definition of a Lemon according to AutoCheck is: "If after a reasonable amount of attempts the authorized dealer is unable to conform a new vehicle to any of its applicable express warranties, the manufacturer shall either provide its customer with a new vehicle of a like model line, if available, or otherwise comparable vehicle as a replacement, or accept the return of the vehicle from its customer and refund to its customer the purchase price paid for the vehicle less a reasonable allowance for use of the vehicle. Lemon laws vary in the states that have enacted them. Lemon laws may not exist in all states." Since last year I have had the following work done: * Replaced all four tires * Replaced the clutch and fly-wheel * Had a complete tune-up performed I have very complete REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE RECORDS for the vehicle since purchasing it in 2005. I am the second owner and purchased the vehicle from a Dodge dealership. This vehicle has not been in any accidents. Please email me if you would like to come by and have a look.
