Vehicle Detail

I am selling these two cars together. They were both abandoned by the original owner and have been sitting in a garage of a house I purchased. The guy basically just dissapeared leaving all his belongings. They have been been sitting idle for eight years. The Porsche only has 60,000 miles on it, and the engine looks good. The interior is leather, has no tears and just needs to be cleaned up. The exterior has a few dings, but the paint appears in very good shape - just needs a good polish. It needs new tires and the clutch cable is broken. It has a t-top. It also needs a key. I called the Porsche dealer and they can order a new key with the VIN# for a $130. I also spoke with some title companies and a new title can be issued for this vehicle since it has been abandoned. Since the original owner dissapeared, a new title needs to be ordered on both vehicles. I called VIP Title in Houston and they said they can order a new title with no problems. If you are a car dealer, I'm sure you know how this process works. The truck also appears in decent shape. The paint is in decent shape (needs a good buff) and the body is in good shape. The back bumper is bent. It has 90,000 miles on it. I have the keys for this vehicle. Same as above applies for the owner's title. If you are in Houston, I can arrange to meet you to look at the vehicles. The batteries do not work on either car, and I highly recommend all fluids be drained and refilled since the cars have been sitting so long. On Apr-27-11 at 07:47:46 PDT, seller added the following information: A title can be obtained for both vehicles from Kim at V.I.P. Title. Her phone number is 281-901-7909. Also, I learned the truck is a 1992 Sonoma. The vin # is 1GTCS14RON8512890. This is a sweet deal for someone that can work on cars and get these cars again with little effort. On Apr-27-11 at 12:11:28 PDT, seller added the following information: The reserve is $1000.00 for both cars. This auction is actually for 2 cars - the 1985 Porsche and the pictured 1992 Chevy Sonoma pick-up. If you have questions, you can email or call me at 832-642-1954.On May-01-11 at 18:53:04 PDT, seller added the following information: I went tonight and did a more thorough inspection of the vehicles. You can see pics of the paint of the Porsche and how it is in pristine condition. I also took a pic of the engine Some of the foam from the engine hood has detioriated onto the engine (what you see in the picture). The oil consistency amazingly looks normal when I checked the dipstick. I charged the battery on the truck and the engine turned over (did not start), but sounds like it might just need spark plugs. I took some extra pics of the truck also. Also, I encourage anyone who wants to verify the mileage on the Porsche to run a CarFax. Apparently some have and say it checks out perfect. As I mentioned earlier, the interior appears in incredibly good condition. On May-01-11 at 18:56:54 PDT, seller added the following information: This is the correct VIN # for the truck: 1GTCS14R0N8512890
