Vehicle Detail
1987 JEEP WRANGLER AVAILABLE! I bought this Jeep from a close friend of mine three years ago. He was the second owner, and had it since 1991. My son has used the Jeep as a runabout while I have owned it. The Jeep has a six inch lift kit, that was installed before I bought it. The front fender has a bit of a bend in it, after my son ran into one of his friends leaving a parking lot two years ago (there was no other damage to the Jeep). The Jeep has been garage kept. A few disclaimers: The odometer hasn't worked in MANY years, so I am estimating the mileage around 120,000. This has been a local-only driver for MANY MANY years - not exactly a ride for a lot of open highway miles. The speedometer works just fine though. The gas gauge and the voltmeter work consistently, but the oil pressure and temperature gauges have minds of their own turn on/off at random. The vehicle does have A/C capability, but we have never had it re-charged or even tried it. The Defrost / Heater work fine. There are times that one headlight or the other will dim a bit -- never had anyone really work on it. Some accessories included with the Jeep: Alpine Stereo (removable face-plate) Indoor / Outdoor Rear Speakers (bolted next to the rear seat) Full-Coverage Soft top Bikini Top -- over front seats only Tuffy LockBox -- located between the two front seats (with two keys) Seat Covers (Corbin seats underneath -- the original neoprene seat cover is faded) Replaced inside of the last few years: Starter Radiator Battery Alternator Re-Built Carburetor Battery All Four Tires -- about 8 months old (oversized, with aggressive off-road tread) That's about it. The paint has some scratches and scuffs from some of the off-road fun. Keep in mind that this is a southern vehicle - so there is no rust on the body that I can find. The body panels are all solid. Let me know if you would like to know more.
