1983 Honda CB

I have for auction a 1983 Honda CB1000 Custom. I got this bike from the original owner. It was sitting in a garage for a few years when I got it. I tore it down to the frame and have had everything apart except the engine and rear diff. I repainted the engine and 2 speed trans.There are new gaskets on all the side covers, valve cover and the oil pan. I stripped the clear off all of the raw aluminum and refinished and recleared with PPG DAU 75, all fluids have been changed and new fork seals installed. The brakes have been completely torn apart and cleaned with a new rebuild kit in the rear master and new brake pads all around.The carbs have been taken apart and cleaned. The tires and valve stems are new as are the front and rear hub bearings. The steering stem was taken apart and cleaned and regreased. I had to Kreem coat the inside of the gas tank the owner had left gas in it and it was rusty(no holes). It has a new fuel petcock and gas cap (had to drill the old one out to get it off) and one rear turn signal stem from Honda. The paint does have some small nicks in it on the tank. The seat cover is in great shape. I had the front fender,2 speed trans cover,brake and shifter levers and the 4 collars that mount the exhaust to the head rechromed. I also have a Windjammer fairing that goes with it which I did not reinstall. The tool kit and pressure gauge and the storage bags and owners manual are present and in EC. The bike runs and drives great I’ve put about 100 miles on it since I finished it. The bike is in heated storage and can be kept there until it gets warmer if needed,just let me know before bidding.
