For your consideration is a Blown 1974 Dodge Challenger! And by BLOWN, I do not mean the engine is grenaded, I mean it has a ProCharger Super Charger installed. It was a 318 4 speed car and I had a 340 built and installed a brand spankin new Passon Performance 4 speed. I'll start with the interior: IT'S ALL NEW..... New upholstery was done locally which included new seat foam, and if you know 74 Challengers, the buns are molded into the frame of the seats so that was an expensive endevor. Carpet is new (sorry I did not vacuum the floor), New Dash pad, the only thing left to do to the interior is install the A-Pillar moldings when they arrive in a couple days. New visors,door panels front and rear, and dynamat under the carpet. Now, for the car itself: Freshly rebuilt 340 with a Lunati Voodoo Cam, roller rockers, 2.02/1.60 x-heads all rebuilt, a QuickFuel Carb and to top it all off, A P1SC Procharger from the Super Charger Store (they are right down the street). New gas tank, new sending unit and gas lines, new brake system including lines/rotors/drums/wheel cylinders. I installed a new AMD R/T hood (not quite adjusted yet) with hood pins. I have new Strange Axles installed with a 3:55 rearend which is an 8 3/4 SureGrip. The spring were moved inboard 3 inches by the previous owner to fit the fat BF Goodrich Radial TA's and TorqThrust D wheels (all of which are brand spankin new also). All new shocks, tie rod/ball joints/control arm bushings etc.... This car is very fast although I do not beat on my cars so I don't really know HOW fast it is but come by and we'll take it for a test flight! To keep the supercharged motor safe (It is 10:1 compression ratio), I also added the water/methanol injection system from Alcohol Injection Systems which prevents detonation. I am only running 5 pounds of boost which is real easy on the motor, but if you wanted to increase the boost, just get a different pully. I do not need to sell the car but I have my eye on a B-Body which are my favorites. So, no picture collectors or scammers! If you are bidding from Nigeria or have a bank from Nigeria DON'T BOTHER ME. Mr Smith and Wesson will answer the door. Just remember, they only built about 11 thousand 74's and probably a large amount have rusted to nothing, or got crashed and crushed. It could use new chrome on the bumpers and some touch up. I have new door hinges (500 bucks) in the trunk. I am looking for a Road Runner (68-70) or a Super Bee (68-70) in excellent condition (plus some of my cash for the right car). Thanks for looking.
