Vehicle Detail
- Description of the Honda Rebel for Auction - For sale is a 2009 Honda Rebel 250 Motorcycle, CMX250C is the model number. I am the original owner, and the bike is located in Columbus Ohio. I bought this motorcycle on Valentines Day in 2009 from Honda Northwest in Hilliard Ohio. It was a gift for my wife because she wanted to start riding along side of me instead of on the back of my bike all the time. The bike has 342 miles on it, yes that is correct 342 miles, so it is nearly brand new. After two summers of riding on her Honda Rebel, she wants my bike (a honda 750) and I am going to buy a new bike (a honda 1300). As you can see in the pictures, the Rebel is in perfect shape: no dings, no dents, no scrapes, no blemishes. We typically ride from our house to historic German Village to eat lunch, and then ride up and down the Scioto River here in Central Ohio. The Rebel is a 250cc motorcycle, which you probably already knew, and it rides pretty nice. Rebels are considered a "standard" type of motorcycle, and they perform really well as such. As far as fuel efficiency, it takes regular 87 octane gasoline, and you can't beat 72 miles per gallon! It's air cooled, as most small engines are, and it has a 5 speed transmission which shifts very quickly and easily. The top speed of this motorcycle is 74 miles per hour, which is fast enough to ride on highways, but not so fast that a beginning rider needs to be afraid of the throttle. The battery is at full charge, as I keep both our bikes on a trickle charger all winter (charger is not included in this auction). If you have any particular questions feel free to ask me a question through eBay, I will answer you back promptly. - Test Riding and Viewing Before the Auction Ends - You are more than welcome to come and see the motorcycle in person before bidding on it. I am usually home by 2pm Mon-Fri, and I am usually home all day on the weekends. The bike is located near zip code 43068. As far as test riding goes, there are a few conditions. You can test ride the motorcycle as long as you have a VALID motorcycle endorsement on you VALID state issued drivers license, and you MUST have VALID motor vehicle insurance. If you are new to motorcycle riding, and you don't have an endorsement or insurance, you can still come see it, and I will be more than happy to start it up and ride it for you. - Payment - I will request a deposit to be made within 72 hours of the end of this auction of $250 through PayPal. The rest will be paid when you pickup the motorcycle in person. The title for this motorcycle is still held by Honda, and once the bike sells I will pay it off and they will mail the title to me in about 10 days. You can pickup the bike before or after the title arrives, it's up to you. If you'd like to wait until the title is in my hand, we can go to the BMV together to transfer the title. Otherwise, I can do my part at the BMV and mail the signed title to you. Which ever you feel more comfortable with. - Local Pickup, Shipping, Meet You Somewhere In Between - I would like to sell to someone who can pickup locally in Columbus Ohio, but I will ride it 2 hours in any direction (100 miles maximum) to meet you in case you are a little further out for a $35 fee. I will ship the bike if you so choose, but keep in mind that you will be paying ALL of the shipping/handling charges for that service. I shipped a bike to my home about five years ago, and it cost nearly $500 - which is a lot of money to spend on shipping in my opinion. - My eBay Motto - I love eBay. I love shopping on eBay, and I love selling on eBay. I have a 100% feedback rating, and I plan on keeping it that way. I do my research and ask questions before bidding, and I ask you to do the same. I pay for every item I win, and I'd like you to do the same. I always appreciate it when sellers do their best to answer my questions, and honestly represent the items they are selling, so I will do the same when I am the seller. I don't want to have a bad experience, and I don't want anyone I sell an item to have a bad experience. If you have a concern, contact me. We can email back and forth, or I will give you my phone number, whichever you would like. I would like to get a positive feedback from you, and I would like to give you a positive feedback as well.
