BARN FIND, 351 W , Close ratio 4 speed Gem. Real Mach one. Power steering, Power Front disc power brakes, 351 windsor 4 barrel intake, and of course a 4 speed toploader transmission with Hurst shifter. Previous owner blew a head gasket some 20 years ago.. He had owned the mustang for past thirty years or so. Engine turn over fine. He took heads off the engine, he saved everything else but the heads. Here is a list of engine parts, Accel single wire electronic distributor, M/T aluminum valve covers, 750 holley double pumper with fuel pressure gauge, 8 MM wires, drive shaft, water pump, fuel pump, push rods, head bolts, Edlebrock high rise 4 barrel aluminum intake. Nice holley fuel pump, Headers are complete as well as exhaust. Clutch linkage is all still hooked up and feels great. Lots of pedal. I did not get the heads for the engine. I would say if a guy had a set of heads to bolt on the block he could have this car up and driving in very short order. Its a good clean car with a nice factory Rare sport deck foldown seat. Interior is very presentable needing touch up hear and there. I say carpet is original to the car as well as seats. All interior fiberglass is uncut .Trap door is a beauty and aslo uncut. I would also add all stainless on the mustang is in very, very nice condition. . I bet the dash and clock have never had a screw removed one time. Nice very complete original MACH ONE. You do not run into these types of projects often. This is light restoration project for sure. Original color is acapulco blue with black out hood treatment. Probably one of the best color combinations Ford came out with. Get this mustang back to your shop and go over brake lines and check fuel lines, get the heads and intake back on engine and you have got one heck of a keeper car. Mustang is sold as is..On Apr-24-11 at 07:23:13 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE. Many many questions on the Mach One. Door tag IS on mustang . Door code 63C is on tag. Makes it a true Mach One. No broken glass, The mustang needs attention to torque boxes and some light frame rail. Body panels are are good and need no replacement, But will require light metal work. bottom lips on doors are NICE.This is an excellent builder car. The engine does not run. There are no heads on the mustang. Everything but the heads is included in this auction. these included parts will need cleaned up checked out. As for the carb that is included its a 750 Holley double pumper. Plan on taking it to your carb man and letting him rebuild it!! Wires are all intact. Four speed transmission is bolted to engine and clutch and linkages are hooked up and work. Engine is not locked up. Cylinder walls are not scored up. Previuos owner states he blew head gasket. Vin numbers are present on Dash, door tag, aprons. Previous owner has filed for duplicate title and will be forwarded to me so you will have a clear Ohio title. Quarter panels are original to the mustang. I see no eviedence of prior damage to mustang. This mustang has been in storage since 1988 . Its a nice find !! The rear end is a nine inch. The gear is a tall one I would say 4:11 or better. Lower front valance has a dent under license plate and will need to be changed. . If you would like to see mustang in person please feel free.
