500 CC Triumph mx bomber,was raced in the desert with the Prospectors MC, aftermarket frame of unknown origin,appears to be a Ceriani front end,gas tank is junk,ran when I got it,has 2 aluminum oil tanks (on bike,pictured). Many Triumph guys have looked at this and were lost as to its history. Of course I think it was Steve McQueens,but doubtful. I do know it came form the Venice-santa Monica where it was in storage for 30 years. I have ridden it and it is fast for a 500 Triumph(not my first 500).Yes,it has a distributor and its a total loss ignition.
