When it arrived here, it had water inside on the floorboards and in the trunk. We did pull the drain plugs and pulled the carpet back in the trunk, and all looks good inside as far as the metal integrity. This appears to be mostly original equipment all around, but we have not gone so far as to check and see if everything is number matched or not. This has the usual 350 CID engine with a 2bbl Rochester Dual-Jet carburetor, in front of (what appears to be) a THM 350. The paint, A/C, interior and body panels all appear to be OE. When this came in, the gas in the tank was pretty sour, and it had no keys. We threw a couple of gallons in it, had some keys made, and managed to get it started, but it was pretty rough running. As far as deficiencies, the exhaust is loud, and the interior is aged/worn but largely intact. There is some moisture damage inside and it smells musty. The windshield is cracked (big time cracked, but still in one piece), and there are small dents throughout. This has fairly severe rust inside and outside in places around the rear window and on the right front lower quarter panel, the roof and other areas have less significant rust spots, and the paint is faded and oxidized. The tires are mostly bald, the shift knob is missing, and this has a 5 digit odometer.....not a bad thing, but since we have absolutely no historical information on this, we don't know if the odometer has rolled over or not. All in all, for a 38 year old car, this still has some very nice lines, and would be a perfect candidate for a restoration project. It has it's rough spots, but clean cars like this one are getting harder to find. This needs a nice home, where it can be enjoyed and well taken care of. As always, a pre-bid personal inspection is highly recommended, and unlike most car auctions of this type, there is no reserve!
