Vehicle Detail
1967 Chevy Nova, 350, Blower, 13 sec. street car. On consignment at Extreme Motorsports in Brentwood, for the owner/builder of the car. The owner is available for any questions. 350 4 bolt main, .30 over Dish top pistons Weiand 144 Blower Holley 650 Double pumper manual secondary Trick Flow aluminum 202 heads Roller Rockers Hydraulic lifters Cam and valve train is all matched as per Trick Flow's recommendations 10 Bolt rear end with limited slip, 3.73 gear ratio Turbo 350 with a Street/Strip B&M kit B&M Star Shifter This build started in 2005 and took 18 months to complete. The Nova started out mostly rust free, but needed one small patch in the lower quarter. The floor had very little surface rust, and all was power brushed, and used 3M spray undercoating on all interior floors. The original 327 was removed and replaced with the above mentioned 350. The suspension is all stock, original 10 bolt rear end, drive line and gears. The paint is 2005 Chevy metallic silver on the bottom, and charcoal top, with a magenta double stripe between. It has three coats of color, and three coats of clear. The trunk has gray Zolatone splatter paint, full size spare and small floor jack. The stereo is Kenwood CD with original style back plate, 250 watt Kicker amp, two 10s and two 6 by 9s sitting in the rear floor, to save the integrity of the rear shelf panel. The front seats are out of a 85 Toyota Supra, with cut off head rests, some tubing work to get a nice look and covered with some of the original replacement cover material to match the back seat. The owner/builder of this car, had had a lot of fun with it. He quotes "This car has never failed me". It is, a good daily driver, fun at the drags= 13.3@106mph at Sac Raceway just for fun one night. We drove the car, as per our usual, pre-sale test drives, and it is truly remarkable. It is not temper mental in any way. It fires right up, runs great, doesn't overheat in traffic, stops good, and runs down the road really smooth. This is a car you can drive to Hot August Nights! Car was recently appraised at Jim Dyer Chevy Classics in Stockton, valued at at $28,000.
