Vehicle Detail

This is a 67 mustang fastback that I am listing for a friend, This is a 99.9 percent zero rust car N.W. car. there is a very small pair of bubbles in front of the drivers rear wheel opening and a small area behind the passenger rear opening, The paint is older but still shines nicely, the body is very straight, there is a couple scratches on top of the front of the hood and a nickel size ding on top in the panel ahead of the deck lid, there is no rust in the trunk floor, it has some door edge chips etc, overall it still looks good, The interior is in need of some detailing, the black paint on the door and on the some of the interior panels needs redone, the headliner is good, the steering column top bearing is loose, the e brake handle needs replaced. Mechanically the car is excellent, the 289 engine was remanufactured less than 500 miles ago, it has a new intake and 600 holley on it, it starts right up and runs great, The top loader transmission was rebuilt less than 1000 miles ago, this is a manual steering manual drum brakes car. Underneath the car has 40 plus years old, it has been undercoated, most likely since day 1 . It has a 6 cd changer. This is a car that you can drive and have fun with, feel free to ask any questions, thanks for lookingOn Apr-19-11 at 19:58:10 PDT, seller added the following information: I put the car on the hoist, the bottom shows no rust or repairs, just heavy undercoating, the rockers , torque boxes etc are solid, the rear end leaks and is noisy, the car runs drives shifts great. there is some strips of metal scabbed on the bottom of the frame rails in the very front running up behind the valance, If this were my car I would remove those and clean up whatever went on there, I lifted the drivers side carpet, there is heavy surface rust on the driver floor, from wet feet, there is no holes and I cannot put a screwdriver through it anywhere, the heater is unhooked, because the heater control cable is bad. we have lowered the reserve so the new owner can save some dough to do cosmetic cleanups chase rattles do detailing, fix little things etc, I took many pictures of the bottom these are available
