car is in good condition, but is not perfect: there is a repair to a 3" tear in the roof, plus 4 tiny holes where the rivets rub; there are a couple of small dimples in the fender & the boot; the lower unit of the front bumper is cracked; there is a dime-sized tear in the liner of the passenger door, and the seats are worn (though completely intact). no bumper stickers or other modifications to body. regular oil changes, oil filter, & air filter every 10k miles on the 5s; all other fluid levels optimal. low-profile tyres nearly new (less than 2k miles). wheels are aluminum alloy w/ locking lugnuts. may be due for brake pads soon. cd player loads & stores five cds at once. radio antenna retractable. the car gets about 35 mpg highway on cruise-control at 60mph (less mpgs if you decide to go 90). i'm not a car-guy or motorhead: for me a vehicle has always been a mode of transportation. i used to service my wife's '74 e-type jag, but i was never in love with that car. this miata, though, is such a sporty drive, and so much fun, with a lot of power in a pinch, that i have to admit i'm a convert! reason for selling: taxes are due; otherwise, i'd never part with it. i'm the second owner; the car is smoke-free. i can probably facilitate delivery within florida; outside of the state, i am amenable to discussing delivery options if shipping is improbable. please feel free to e-mail me with questions.
