1959 APACHE 32 RAT ROD! Started this project with my 16 year old son and as we were close to completing his wants changed! So what I have here is a Rat Rod project that is 95% complete missing only a few minor things like a Horn, radio, and whatever self touches you want to add. What we have done is took a 59 that had been converted with a 80's Camaro sub frame, 10 bolt Gm leaf spring rearend with ladder bars then added a late model 350 with a 700r4 transmission. The old truck has power steering, power disc brakes, tilt wheel, all new hoses, new Edelbrock carb, Weind alum intake, 2.5 inch exhaust with Flowmasters, new Distributor that includes cap and wires all new, new radiator, Bomber style seats, gas tank was boiled and lined, tires are 80% with old school chrome wheels (Cragar SST's?). Truck was sanded and painted over 52 years of dents and dings to keep the Rat Rod look with a semi Black paint job. The old truck has had some Cab corners and some repairs around the front fenders and Im sure theres filler in other places.... The glass is all in and windows work as they should. The cab, doors, hood are in very goog shape for never being restored.. This will make a COOL OLD RAT ROD with just a little more time and very little expense.
