Vehicle Detail

100% restoration, frame off, everything gone through. Needs nothing. Great Honda collector piece, last year of the CR125M and very few were built and sold. Runs solid and very strong. Frame was stripped and painted, same for the tank, new seat cover and foam, new fenders, side panels and front number plate, original bars still, really fun bike. Cycle is located at my restoration buddy's house in Bullhead City, AZ (next to Laughlin, NV) 45 minutes from Las Vegas. When I bought the bike I was pretty sure it was never raced, he owned it since he bought it here locally in Phoenix in 1979 off the dealer showroom floor, said he only trail road it and based on the fact there was no race tell tale roost marks on the forks, pipe or scuffed up frame rails under the engine I beleive him. Mark (restoration buddy) took it all apart and we replaced whatever was old, faded or not up to snuff. Lots of time, effort and money wrapped up in the bike. Whenever I look at the bike I think of Marty Smith or Steve Wise, especially Marty Smith that picture of him in a deep sandy rut, left leg out, the bike way into the rut and you can see he's got the bike flat out pinned. So cool. How these guys went so darn fast on bikes with what, 7 inches of front suspension, 5 maybe 6 in the back, down pipe and they were flying. Then to top it off 2 moto's of 45 mintues apiece, think of how much these bikes would pound on you with little to no suspension and going that fast, unreal. Questions, sure, give me a ring, my cell is 480-861-7218 and my direct email address is steele@receivables-management.com. I am an avid vintage motocross guy with over 30 bikes. Maico's, CZ's, Bultaco's, Montessa's, Honda Elsinore's, Yamaha YZ's, Suzuki RM's and Kawasaki KX's well you get the idea. Want to see video of the bike? Go to YouTube and search steeleacampbell and there you go. Going to be listing my 1978 Honda CR125M that's near mint, 1981 Can-Am MX-6B 250 Rotax, 1977 Maico AW 250 up pipe, 1984 Kawasaki KX250 and more. Wait until Don get's done with the 1978 Husqvarna Husky 390 ATX automatic, that will be a real gem! Doing everything to it, super cool bike. Debating on if I want to have him do the 1972 Penton 125 Six Day "D" motor bike or just sell it off as it is now, pretty good shape mostly all old school original (down to the Preston Petty fenders). Cool old bike. Really do plan on getting rid of all the extra bikes and parts just keep what things I race. So that would mean I will be selling the 1969 Husqvarna 360 sportsman, 1969 Honda Z50A, 1972 Penton I already mentioned, 1974 Honda CR250M (yes, I have more than one), 1977 Maico AW 250, 1977 Suzuki RM370B, 1978 Honda CR125M, 1978 Suzuki RM250C, this KX, the 1981 Can-Am MX-6B 250 (I have another one but not restored yet) and the 1984 Kawasaki KX250. Is that all of them I will sell, hmmm, let me think, wait, 1980 Maico M1 250, there's more and I am forgetting, I need to take better inventory I guess! Shipping, personally I have had GREAT luck with a eBay company, Uship.com, give you an example I got 3 Maico's from Baltimore to me (Phoenix, AZ area) for $360, what a deal! International shipping, I have done this a number of times in the past and I will help out in anyway I can. Check out my other listings for other vintage motocross bikes and parts, I have plenty!
