1987 Mercury Cougar XR7, clear california title, light blue ext. dark blue leather int.. Has 68,915 original miles with the 5.0 V8 motor.. Runs excellent and the automatic tranmission shifts very smooth through all gears.. This car has pwr locks, pwr windows, cruise control, dual pwr seats, pwr mirrors, electric push button trunk and lighted visor mirrors.. There is a the ability to open the car on the drivers side with a push button code. The tires are in excellent condition, brakes work great all the lights, signals , cruise , horn work.. The stereo turns on but is scratchy sounding at high volumes. New plugs, new wires, new air filter, fresh oil on the 15 th and filter, the entire fuel system was flushed and the fuel pump was replaced.. Brand new lifetime muffler installed from Midas. Also had a fuel injector cleaning at Pacific Auto Service here in San Diego. They went through the entire car for me and found it to be an excellent automobile. The leather inside is beautiful for it's age as well as the carpet throughout, the only real flaw is on the drivers seat which i show in the pics.. The center console latch needs to be replaced. Locking glove compartment locks.. All the glass is excellent and the dash has no wear nor the door panels.. The digital dashlights, the only bulb that needs to be replaced is the speedometer bulb to make it brighter. The body is in exceptional condition, the paint is a very pretty ice blue, though it's not perfect as to be expected after 24 years it looks good... The A/C was blowing cold and the heat was working fine until a month ago the heater core started leaking, so i blocked it off under the hood. It's a $50 part that I haven't gotten around to replacing especially since I do not drive the car very much at all, it sits in the garage.. I drive it about 2-5 days a month just to keep her moving.. She needs to be driven, So nice out on the highway... Great cruiser and a great all around ride.. This car will drive anywhere no problem... NO RESERVE..
