Vehicle Detail
1996 CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE All scheduled maintenance, Always garaged & covered, Fully loaded, Ice cold A/C, Looks & runs great, Low mileage @75,000, Never seen snow, Non-smoker, Very clean interior, Well maintained, hot and very quick., 3-point seat belt anchors, Keyless entry with Pass-Key II anti theft system, Heated Glass Rear Window in Convertible Top, DIgital and Analog dash with electronic on-board computer/driver information center, Power everything, Must see, Spring special....but summer is coming, buy her now before everyone makes a rush on a convertible. Motivated to sell. Now to be honest, the car does have a history of being stolen in the past. It lost it's wheels, so new wheels...it was missing it's convertible top, so new top...it was missing it's stereo, so new stereo....it needed a new paint job, as it was scratched, so new paint job in original color. Insurance company had to pay off it being stolen, so when it was re-licensed, it got tagged by the insurance company, as is their policy, to report the TITLE AS SALVAGE. PRIOR SALVAGE RIGHT ON THE TITLE....it had a small crack in front of the cowl, drivers side,so that was repaired and the total cost of putting it back like new, was more than the insurance wanted to pay, so they totaled it...with the theft and the new repaint required, fixing the cowl, and replacing parts, that is their right to cut their loss. Now the new owners I bought it from in Nixa, Mo. totally restored it....new everything...it's almost like new, but with original interior that is in really good shape....so a 1996 with a total cosmetic face lift on the exterior....an engine that has 75K miles on it and 2004 wheels from another Vette. The frame has been checked out, as you know, any little bump on a Vette ruins the panels hit...so the car was tapped in the left front. You wouldn't know it, if it wasn't on the report or I told you. The cars frame is perfect....seeing is believing. You want to check around and find a convertible like this, pay $5000 more for unrestored if you want, but here's a like new example for much less, Will consider negotiation of what you have. $500 DEPOSIT REQUIRED UPON ACCEPTANCE OF BID PRICE WITHIN 48 HOURS. But I'm so confident that this car is as good as she comes, that I will have it inspected in the presence of the buyer, or send them the report of an independent mechanic's inspection. If the item does NOT pass inspection, then I pay for the inspection and refund your deposit. If it passes the inspection with flying colors, (as it will) then buyer pays for the inspection and pays for the car balance in full. It will be checked from stem to stern. Engine, options, frame, alignment, exhaust. Everything mechanical, paint and panel fit and finish, gaps between panels even and no variance in gaps. That's how confident I am that this car is better than what it could have been. Everything on the exterior is new, except the tires and wheels, as the tires are about 70% in front and about 90% in back...wheels are off another Vette, but they gleam like new. Check out the shine in the pics and study the pics closely. If you don't know anything about a restored car, then check out Desert Valley Car Restorations on the Discovery Channel. They restore muscle cars that bring 20-30K and they look awesome as they have been gone completely through...this one has, too...just come look and if you don't agree, then you haven't bought it. Savvy buyers know that a restored model with new original parts is like the original factory, but cheaper to buy. Price them...go ahead price them. Then come check this one out. You'll be glad you did.
