This is believed to be 1 of 17 made with this combo and this car had to be ordered this way. It was ordered by a well known Seattle car dealer, Bud Meadows. This car is down right fabulous and I would call it a high #2 car. The PHS docs are stamped "Special Order" The original motor has been replaced with a date coded 428WJ 390 HP version. The motor was built a few months after the car was. I am told only 177 total Pontiac's had that this motor in 1968. It has factory aluminum headers and manifold. It also comes with the correct Q-Jet carb. The trans has been completely rebuilt with a new CenterForce clutch, new U-joints and a 3.42 Posi rear end. THIS ONE HAS POWER DISC BRAKES, am/fm radio and 8 trac though they need to be hooked correctly, rally wheels and power antenna, new exhaust, gauge package,sport steering wheel and Tiger Paw tires. It is believed the car has 120k original miles but the car has been nicely restored. The motor has around 20k miles and the rest of the car under 5k. This is a totally rust free car and is an excellent driver. VERY TIGHT! This car comes from a man who has a serious passion for Pontiac's and has plenty of rare and exciting projects.
