Vehicle Detail
I purchased this beauty a little over two weeks ago from a woman that had it for sale at a local mechanic shop. She had the car serviced there for the past fifteen years. I asked the mechanic who was in charge of selling the car for her about the history, and he told me that it had been maintenanced on a regular basis which i did see all of the service records in order stacked along with the original owners manual inside of the glovebox . And that everything was up to date. I asked to take it for a test drive and while driving i noticed that when idling the car would shake but not majorly & i could smell the exhaust fumes but it still drove & accelerated great, smooth shifting & absolutely no leaks at all. He told me that because the car had been sitting for a while that it needed to be driven a lot so that the fluids can circulate. I felt that it was a great buy for a rare classic in such great condition. It just needs new spark plugs & a fuel injection cleaning but i just recently lost my job so i can't get it fixed at the moment. :( But other than those issues the car really is in great condition for its age, It does have a few rock chips & a couple of very small dings on the exterior but these days what car doesn't. I love this car & get alot of great compliments on it especially about the interior they love how excellent it looks both color & condition wise, No rips, tears, fading, not even a crack on the dash though the steering wheel leather does have some fading in certain areas. A little history/specs on this classic, These cars are rare because there were only so many of them made 11,267 ever produced these cars were driven by only the wealthiest people back in the 80's, It features a 3.8 V8 engine which produces 201HP & 315 ft pounds of torque & runs like a raging bull! Original MSRP $51,956 & the blue book value for the condition that my car is in estimates at $17,300 but i'm only asking a fraction of that. I really hate to let it go but the reason for my decision to sell is because i have a 1yr old daughter & the car is not car seat friendly so i'm forced to sell & purchase something larger & family friendly. I really appreciate you all for taking the time to view & read my ad, If you have any additional questions please feel free to contact me anytime & if i don't answer right away please leave a detailed message (281-451-5073) Thanks!
